Lauren Battung
Director of Development
Lauren (who goes by LB) leads fundraising and supports the organization’s strategic vision by stewarding existing relationships and building new ones. She played collegiate soccer at UC Berkeley, where she earned a degree in Environmental Economics & Policy. Since then, the Bay Area has been her home, where she’s stayed connected to sport through coaching and very committed support of local teams. LB has held operations, development, and project management roles in various organizations.
As an athlete, coach, and sports fan, LB understands how sport is a powerful vehicle for building connection, self-confidence, the capacity for authentic expression, and life skills beyond the field.
