Let’s bring the city together to watch history in the making!
Mark your calendars or subscribe to your team’s schedule by following the orange buttons. Confirm with your respective coaches about game times and practices. Players and parents, please arrive 60 minutes before games for warm-ups.
Bret Harte Middle School, Edna Brewer Middle School, Elmhurst United Middle School, and Roosevelt Middle School are the first schools to be in the inaugural 2024 OAL Middle School League for * goggles and helmets.
We aim to use gender-expansive language. We refer to the gear the player would wear while on the lacrosse field; ‘goggles’ would be for what is known as ‘girls’ lacrosse while ‘helmets’ refers to ‘boys’ lacrosse.
Our five-team varsity league participates in the Oakland Section of the California Interscholastic Federation (OAL/CIF) and comprised of players from Castlemont High School, McClymonds High School, Oakland High School, Oakland Technical High School, and Skyline High School.
Our Helmets High School Team competes against other club teams throughout Northern California. Over 90% of the team comes from OUSD schools.
