The Purple One Scholarship was created to honor leadership that makes a lasting impact on a team and a community. It recognizes student-athletes who lead with heart, show up for others, and carry the values of Oakland Lacrosse with them far beyond the field.

Coaches report record engagement and inspiring stories of growth and reconnection, like Mya’s return to the team and Dani’s drive to lead at Castlemont. New meet-and-greet sessions have helped transform interest into action, bringing 8–10 new players to practices at Oakland High alone and strengthening team culture across all sites.
