This year’s Alumni Day was our biggest yet—more than 200 players, families, and alumni gathered at Laney College for a day filled with food, laughter, and community pride. From Webcor’s incredible BBQ to the closing circle that closed out the evening, the day reminded us all what OLC is really about: belonging, lifelong connections, and the joy and the powerful network of the OLC community.

From hearing life lessons from CEO Tom Barnds, to practicing elevator pitches and networking, to closing the day with OLC-style shout outs, our players showed up ready to learn, grow, and lead.
Read MoreThis summer, 20 OLC high school players and OLC alumni in college stepped up as Ambassadors, coaching at 21 Oakland program sites through our partnership with AIM High and Oakland Parks & Rec. Together, they reached more than 1,000 middle and elementary schoolers while also building their own leadership and life skills through professional development on and off the field.
